Look at document at the end of this answer. You will find the name of your hub area in the box at the beginning, just click on it and it will take you to the list of current vacancies for your area. If there is nothing suitable or you also want to look in the other areas in North Yorkshire or at national apprenticeship vacancies, just go to that area.
A revised version of this document is put here by 11.00 every Wednesday. If you want to see all the latest vacancies, go to the Apprenticeship vacancies website (AV) and search for vacancies in your area. If you have set up a saved search, this will be very quick.
Not all apprenticeships are on the AV yet and so you may find vacancies that are interesting to you on Job vacancy search page.
Here you will find some of the job vacancies for which you can apply. These vacancies are listed under the Connexions' areas taking their name from the town in which the main Connexions base is found. There is a map to help you if you are not sure which hub/centre is for where you live. You can also click on 'National' and that will give you all the national vacancies for organisations that are recruiting nationally. These vacancies are updated every day so if you cannot find what you want, please visit the site again soon.
You will find other vacancies with other organisations through the links on this website and you could look at the other vacancies list which is a list of the recruitment websites for a large number of national companies that you might like to investigate. The range of opportunities, often all over the world is amazing. There is also information on how to find out about jobs in each local hub area, just open the list for your area. If you think that you may be interested in an apprenticeship you will find most of the opportunities here because we search the Apprenticeships vacancies' site every day and put all new vacancies onto Get Connected Now.
If you are interested in a vacancy/job you should Register Your Interest in that vacancy/job by filling in a Registration of Interest form. You have a number of ways in which you can do this:
- When you open a vacancy/job that you are interested in you will see a 'Register interest' button at the bottom of the page. Fill the short form in and submit it.
- You can download the Word document below, fill it in and either post it to your local hub/centre (see Connexions Near You) or email it to getconnectednow@northyorks.gov.uk
- You can visit your local hub
- You can call your local hub/centre - contact details are on the Contact us page
When we receive your form we will get in touch with you to tell you how you will need to apply for the job; employers have different application processes that you will need to follow. If you have any queries, please get in touch with your local hub/centre where you can talk to a Connexions Adviser or a Connexions Personal Adviser.
